Offices:
Records:
All records will be maintained in a paperless format, excepting only records received in hard copy form from clients or in the mail.
All copies of records, needed by clients or any others having a right to the records, will be provided in electronic format unless a
hard copy is expressly requested.
Client Communications/Billing:
Client communications and billing will be paperless unless a hard copy is specifically requested by the client.
Printing/Paper:
Printing is limited to documents and records that are not capable of electronic transmission.
All printer paper must be made from 100% recycled post consumer product.
All promotional materials must be produced using paper with the highest percent of recycled post consumer product as is possible
without affecting the quality of the promotional materials.
Recycling:
All recyclable materials used in the office including, paper, plastic, metal, and glass must be recycled. A recycling bin will be available
for recyclable materials.
All employees, contractors or members are required to recycle all recyclable materials used for personal use, such as food and drink
containers, while doing work for Dezign Green.
Re-Usable Products:
Re-usable products, will be utilized for everyday office use in place of commonly used single use products, including but not
limited to, coffee mugs, water glasses, plates, silverware, cloth/plastic storage containers etc...
Energy Consumption:
Affirmative efforts will be made to minimize energy consumption.
All equipment including computers, laptops, printers, etc will remain off and unplugged when not in use.
All lighting will be provided with energy efficient LED or Florescent lights. All lights must be turned off when not in use.
Heat will not exceed 68 degrees in winter and AC will not exceed 75 degrees in the summer.
Telecommuting is encouraged when possible to decrease energies used during commuting and to decrease the use of office
electronics when not necessary.
Cleaning Products:
All office cleaning products must be environmentally friendly.
Pest Control:
Should pest control become a problem all pest control methods must take potential environmental impact into consideration prior
to implementation.
Video Pre/Post Production:
Equipment:
All cameras are tapeless and low consumption.
All lighting will be either natural or created using low consumption LED and fluorescent lights, unless it will materially affect the quality
of the product.

All equipment purchased going forward must be low consumption if available.
Sets and Locations:
Every effort will be made to do shoots on location minimizing the need to create artificial sets.
Every effort will be made to use environmentally friendly, re-usable, recycled and/or recyclable set props and materials.
All materials brought to a location or a set must be removed, recycled, or properly disposed of and may not be left behind or
abandoned.
Recycling:
All recyclable materials used on set, must be recycled. If recycling is not conveniently available at the location recyclable materials
must be taken to a recycle center.
Graphic Design and Printed Products:

All print products must be printed on recycled product of the highest percent that does not materially affect the quality of the product.
Transportation:
Equipment:
All equipment will be packed as efficiently as possible to reduce the number of vehicles needed for transport.
Public Transportation:
All employees, contractors and members are encouraged to use public transportation whenever possible.
Whenever possible client meetings should be metro accessible to encourage metro use to and from client meetings.
Company Cars:
Any company vehicles purchased must meet green fuel efficiency standards.
Rental Cars:
Any rental cars used for Dezign Green business must meet fuel efficient green standards.
Food Services:
Any food ordered for Dezign Green meetings, sets, events, etc. must be environmentally friendly from sustainable products and vegan
to limit the impact on the environment.
All services containers and utensils must be re-usable or recyclable and may not be thrown away but must be either re-used or recycled.
